The Holy Trinity
Elijah and his sister, Elyse, at the beach in Half Moon Bay, CA
The Holy Trinity is the most important spiritual truth to understand. It is peace and happiness. Trinitarian harmony leads you to God. Once you understand, practice, and embody it, you are a god or, if you prefer the more feminine term, goddess. In Book of Elijah, I introduced the true definition of the Holy Trinity. With this brief essay, I will more completely define the Trinity.
The Holy Trinity is the physical, spiritual, and emotional presence of a Parent, Child, and Holy Ghost. This can be gendered into two forms. One is Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Two is Mother, Daughter, Holy Ghost. When any human embodies the gendered or genderless form, they are a god. Embodiment means that they freely flow between all three states. By so doing, they essentially embody a sibling-like spiritual state with all humans, as a kind of Brother or Sister. Harmony in this Trinity is God. Therefore you can be God.
Following understanding that synthesis of the three states of the Trinity within the individual means that you individually represent God, the next question is what exactly is each of the three states?
Defining parts of the Trinity without gender is most important. What is Parent? What is Child? And what is the Holy Ghost?
Parent gives love in all languages, answers questions, teaches, provides safety for self realization. The most important love language is physical touch.
Child receives love in all languages, asks questions, learns, interacts with reality to manifest self realization.
Holy Ghost is memory both individually and collectively. This includes not only memory of yourself but memories of those that you know who are physically present as well as those who you know who are not physically present. It is, to some degree, impossible to separate the spiritual manifestation of these memories. They are all intertwined. Knowledge and respect of these Spirits also empowers selection of your attention in the present. Time is infinite in the space of this Spirit. This is how empowerment and confidence is built individually and collectively. It is the permission encouraging you to be your most authentic self without irrational fear or restrictions. It is not allowing ungodly, negative, meaningless, material manifestations and pursuits to guide your daily life.
Father is one who encourages limits to be pushed. He teaches to step on the gas and push boundaries. He utilizes and then teaches from his own technical and targeted skills and thinking in combination with mastery of individual tasks to find flow, meaning, and purpose. Expression of these states leads to happiness and fulfillment for the Father spirit. His establishment of safety is built on teaching safety and self preservation while pushing boundaries as well as physical protection with self defense. His Light is more particular in motion.
Mother is the origin of human life. Her natural strengths lie in caregiving, emotional regulation, setting up and participating in physically safe environments. She is global, collaborative, and holistic in her thinking. She is egalitarian in nature. She sees value in His technical and targeted skills but does not attach ability or disability to individual intrinsic value. She compliments Father by teaching that stepping on the brakes in life is part of safety, too. Mother Nature spirits oversight of humanity. Her presence and voice empowers Children with gifts to shine while assuring and advocating that all of Her Children—that is to say all humans—have basic needs met. Her light is more spectral.
The Trinity is not limited to the masculine form. In prior spiritual literature, it was. That is patriarchy. Its definition, of course, is not limited to the feminine form, either. In its inclusion of both and the fluid nature of gender expression, the gendering of the Holy Trinity is simply a personal choice.
Androgynous expression, blending the masculine and feminine, is applicable to both children and adults; it is truth. Identity and expression do not determine sexuality. Delineation of traits as masculine and feminine is itself also arbitrary. Certainly there are traits that appear more in male humans and others more in female humans but those traits are not restricted to each. Doing so disrupts the Trinity. It is patriarchal creation of human robots. Gender expression is spectral for all. Selection of gender identity does not dictate gender expression. Identity feels given. Expression is chosen. Anatomic sex, that is to say genitalia, is nearly (but not universally) binary in expression. Vagina or penis is a generally binary physical trait in humanity. Its near universal binary nature in intercourse is the predicate to development of a new, physical human body.
Centering the Mother in reproduction, the Trinity from the male flows from the Father going in Her to the Son rising out. Holy Ghost is his memory in the Child as well as satisfaction that he and his Child can be happy and at peace without Him owning the Child. The Child may not be his. Internal peace with that process is Trinitarian. For Mother, the Child flows out of Her first, but her Daughter or Son is to be cared for by all. This is Her freedom from owning Her Child. This is Her Holy Ghost and what the Trinity looks like in her. Separation from ownership of her Child means she brings the village to collectively Parent her Child.
Free flow between states means that in the parental embodiment of the Trinity, the child matures into a Trinitarian state and, in some ways, even the child embodies the Trinity through nature and nurture. Authenticity and free flow between all states in Self without ego cannot be faked. It is real. It is love. It is God.
